Guest speaker Dr. Jason Walker was introduced and provided the club with a brief overview of the Greater Victoria Victim Services. This organization provides front line counseling and assistance to those victims of robbery, domestic violence, assault and sudden death. Funding is provided by CRD, and United Way among others.
The organization is always looking for volunteers and donations to assist them in their goal of providing victims with effective and compassionate care.
